(Little Rock, Arkansas) – Pulaski Circuit/County Clerk Pat O’Brien announced today that his campaign for Secretary of State received contributions of $50,207.50 from 366 contributors in the third quarter of 2009 for a cumulative $173,058.54 raised. For the second consecutive quarter he raised more than any previous candidate in a primary election for Arkansas Secretary of State.

That amount is the most contributions ever raised during one reporting period for the Office of Secretary of State in Arkansas.

(Little Rock, Arkansas) - Pulaski Circuit/County Clerk Pat O'Brien announced today that he is a candidate for Arkansas Secretary of State in 2010. O'Brien started accepting contributions in April and surpassed $100,000 prior to announcing. O'Brien is a Democrat and will be seeking the party's nomination in a primary to be held in May, 2010.
